Paddington in London - Immersive Experience, Statue and Shop

Visit duration: 3 hours Recommended time: All year Cost: £61

We visited the Paddington Experience and Paddington Station in London. We love the movies* and the bear is simply incredibly cute. So, excited about this special experience, we went to London, feeling slightly under the weather.

We didn’t even try with our car. We took the train and then used a day ticket in London. This allowed us to move around the city very dynamically using the tube, regular trains, and buses. The ticket costs approximately £17.

Paddington Experience

First, we visited the Paddington Experience. It’s not a classic museum, but rather an immersive experience. Here you can immersively experience all three parts of the movie in an approximately 70-minute tour and help save “Marmalade Day”. The entry costs approximately £43.50.

The sets are impressive, detailed, and made with so much love. We often felt like we were in the middle of the movie. Unfortunately, photography and filming are prohibited, so we can’t show much here.

Our journey began at “Paddington Station”: The Green Line was our train. The station itself is already an experience and the perfect starting point for our Paddington adventure. The actors live their roles to such an extent that you simply start off with a good mood right away. At each station they encourage the group to participate, so for example, while waiting for the train, there’s dancing and singing.

Paddington experience departure times

After the tour, you could still stay in “Windsor Garden,” enjoy the atmosphere, take photos, and taste delicious snacks. This relaxed time after the immersive part was very pleasant and gave us the opportunity to reflect on what we had experienced. A highlight here is, of course, that you can also take photos with Paddington himself. These special souvenir photos are definitely a must for all Paddington fans.

This brand new experience takes you on an exciting adventure into Paddington's world! Help Paddington and the Brown family prepare for a very special event: the Marmalade Day Festival.

At “Gruber’s Antiques”, right at the entrance/exit, you could then buy quite a few souvenirs to take home. The selection was diverse and the quality of the items was convincing.

The “Real” Paddington Station - Statue and Shop

Afterwards, we continued to the “real” Paddington Station, where Paddington was picked up by the Brown family in the first movie*. In real life, there are two statues there that serve perfectly as photo spots.

Additionally, there’s a Paddington Shop in the station hall where we could browse again. Here you can find more beautiful souvenirs and gifts.

Our Conclusion

We had a really wonderful Paddington day in London. The Paddington Experience is a wonderful experience for all age groups. Especially fans of the movies will get their money’s worth here. The attention to detail and immersive design make the visit something special.

Visitor Information

It’s advisable to book tickets for the Paddington Experience in advance. They are time-bound as entry is done in groups. Prices vary depending on the day and time. We booked our tickets on the train on the way to London.
